Maria E. Alvarez-Hernandez, R.Ph; Pharm.D attained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2001 from the University of Houston.

Shortly after graduating she joined a compounding pharmacy team in the Houston area. Over the course of ten years she earned a solid reputation in the compounding field, and quickly gained the trust of many patients and physicians.

Dr. Hernandez is continuously attending seminars and symposiums, and always keeps herself up to date on all the latest treatment methods.

She has served as an adjunct professor for the University of Houston College Of Pharmacy since 2002 and received their Preceptor of the Year award in 2006.
